What is your online return policy?
Carriage Trade is happy to accept returns or exchanges on merchandise that is full price, unworn, unwashed, and unaltered with tags within 14 days of delivery/pickup date. The following items may not be returned: intimate apparel, hosiery or socks, jewelry, eyewear, personal care items, and gift cards.
Merchandise that follows these standards are eligible for a refund or store credit. Regular priced merchandise purchased with the one time 10% OFF welcome coupon are also eligible for refund or credit. All shoes, handbags, and clothing must be returned with the original box, dust bag or packaging originally included.
What is your online return policy for sale items?
Carriage trade is happy to provide an exchange or store credit. Please note sale merchandise will not be eligible for a refund. All merchandise discounted at 50% OFF or more, are not eligible for return, exchange or store credit and will be considered FINAL SALE on completion of purchase. Sale merchandise that is qualified for an exchange or store credit must be unworn, unwashed, and unaltered with tags within 14 days of delivery/pickup date.
What if I am outside of the 14 day return window?
Regular priced merchandise received after 14 days but within 30 days after delivery/pickup are not eligible for refund, but will be accepted for an exchange or store credit worth the price of the merchandise at that time.
How do I begin the online return process?
- To begin, please request a return form by emailing us at email@example.com. Your email must reference your order confirmation number, name, reason for return and photos if damaged. Please include 'Return Request' in the subject of your email.
- Carriage Trade will review your order after receiving your email to determine if you are eligible for a return.
- Once your return has been approved, we will email you with a return authorization number and return authorization form which must be completed and included on the inside of your package. The return authorization number must be written on the outside of the package. Please note that we are not responsible for any delays, damages or missing items during return shipping.
- Email us with the tracking number of your return shipment to the original email thread.
- Once we have received your items, the return/refund will be processed (excluding duties and shipping charges). Please allow up to 5 business days for the refund to appear on your credit card. Please keep in mind every banking institution differs slightly with timing. We will send an email confirmation to you once we have refunded your order.
- Please note we do not provide shipping labels or return shipping fees to customers.
Can I return my items in-store?
Carriage Trade is happy to accept online returns in store. Please follow steps 1 and 2 in our return process above. Once the return has been approved you may come to the store with your return and return authorization form.
What is your in-store policy?
Items purchased in store may be returned within 7 days of the date of purchase for exchange or store credit only. When purchasing in-store the customer has the opportunity to see, feel, and try on the merchandise. Items must be in original condition and must not be damaged or worn and must have original tags on them. Items that are damaged or missing original tags will not be accepted for return, exchange or store credit.
The following items may not be returned: intimate apparel, hosiery or socks, eyewear, personal care items, and gift cards.

What is your Gift Exchange Policy?
If you have received a gift, you are eligible to exchange it within 14 days as long as the product is unworn, undamaged, has the original price tags on, and is not marked as FINAL SALE.
CARRIAGE TRADE DOES NOT PRICE MATCH OR PRICE ADJUST ON REDUCTION TO THE SELLING PRICE. THE SELLING PRICE CAN CHANGE AT ANY TIME.
